Bring your supplies and projects to work with fellow artists, chat, and get out of your studio for a bit. This open studio opportunity is available to all who want to join in, regardless of experience. Space is limited to 6 people to maintain distancing. The room has an air purifier and Covid protocols are followed. Due to space limitations preregistration is required and we cannot accept drop-ins yet.

The Basics of Alcohol Ink: Learning to Create an Abstract Painting
with Noel Soucy

During the 1 1/2-hour class, students will learn basic alcohol ink techniques. After a brief introduction and demonstration, students will have a chance to experiment with the inks to create their own unique colorful artworks. Learn to influence your art with the unique medium of alcohol ink. Each week you’ll work on techniques and create art!

"How To" Oil Painting Workshop and Bootcamp
with Bob Richardson
This two day oil painting workshop is designed for serious beginners as a starting point to explore oil painting while at the same time avoiding the expense of investing in supplies (paints, brushes, canvas, etc.) at the onset. This is a “hands on” exploration of the tools of the trade necessary to apply your new painting skills. Students will go from an initial sketch to a completed 9x12 still life oil painting, while learning about oil paints, color, light, composition, and rendering techniques. All materials needed will be provided in the class.

Beginner Drawing Using the Grid Method and Beginners Painting
with Natalie Rotman Cote
Private and semi-private lessons available
Dates and times to be determined, scheduled as a series of 4, 1.5-hour sessions
These lessons are designed to help beginning artists learn foundational skills in drawing and/or painting with watercolor, acrylic, pastel and/or mixed-media, as well as to help artists get comfortable with the materials and techniques, while creating works of art.
Fee: $100 per person for 4 sessions
List of necessary supplies will be provided, or supplies can be provided for an additional fee.
